What does CADR mean?
Clean air delivery rate is a measure of the volume of cleaned air a purifier delivers per hour. It is one useful way to compare models, alongside room size, layout and how you plan to use the purifier.
Does a larger room always need the LY-PS7?
The LY-PS7 has the higher listed coverage and CADR. Ceiling height, open doorways and furniture can affect the best fit, so the stated areas are a guide rather than a guarantee.

No. Outdoor AQI describes outdoor conditions. A correctly sized portable purifier can help reduce some indoor airborne pollutants in the room it serves. Good ventilation and reducing pollution at its source still matter.
